The Soul Fixin’
Foundation was
created to bridge the gap
of financial need
when Blues musicians are ill or injured and unable
to work
to support themselves and their family.
The
foundation was named after the late Luther Allison.
Anyone who knew Luther would understand
why the Soul Fixin’
Foundation
was named after such an inspiring man.
Most
Blues musicians live
pay check to paycheck
and barely make enough to survive in the
good times.
Therefore, when they are unable to work due to illness
or injury,
they sometimes find it impossible to pay monthly bills.
Blues
musicians have given
so much to us.
The Soul Fixin’ Foundation
seeks
to give back to these
musicians in their time of need.
