Soul Fixin' Foundation was originally created to bridge the gap when blues musicians are unable to work and need emergency funds to provide for their immediate needs.

Many Blues musicians have given so much to us and their  music brings such great joy. We are gratified in knowing that the The Soul Fixin' Foundation has given back to these musicians when they are in need. We will continue to multiply the good that Blues music provides for our new focus-- providing instruments for terminally ill children.

We have recently expanded our mission and teamed up to with other organizations to set up music therapy departments in children's hospitals for the benefit of terminally ill kids. The Soul Fixin' Foundation donates the guitars and basses necessary to set up the departments and the pianos, amps, etc are funded through a joint effort with John Catt of Blue Star Connection and Don Ritter of Category 5 Amplification. When a child is able to leave the hospital the child will get a instrument to take home.

So for we have managed to set up a center in Dallas, one in Denver and are working on the Dell Children's hospital in Austin as we speak. This is a pretty big order for sure and everyone is tight on funds. All I can ask you to do is if you feel led to help out it will go to a good cause for sure.
We are 100% volunteer organization so we incur very little in the way of overhead expenses. There is not one dime taken out of the foundation for anything other than purchasing guitars for the kids, and helping others others organizations with a similar goal of using Blue Music to fund programs helping kids and Blues musicians.

Blues music brings such great joy to humanity. The Soul Fixin' Foundation is filled with pride and joy knowing our new mission can make a positive difference in the lives of terminally ill children.
